runmygig

Terms of Service

Last updated October 18, 2026

runmygig ("runmygig", "we", "us") is a web app for running live gigs such as open mics, comedy nights and showcases. It is operated by BTTRYZN LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These terms are an agreement between you and BTTRYZN LLC. Producers agree to them with a checkbox before they run Gigs. Performers, crew, vendors, volunteers and guests agree to them by signing up for a Gig or using a Gig link. We keep a record of which version of these terms a producer agreed to and when, and of which version a sign-up form showed.

Who uses runmygig

Producers create Gigs, take signups, build lineups and run the night. Performers, crew, vendors, volunteers and guests use a Gig through a link from a producer: they sign up, get their slot link and reminders, RSVP, or see a read-only Gig sheet. If you are not a producer, you are using runmygig because a producer asked you to, and these terms apply to that use.

Ages and minors

Under 13. runmygig is not meant for children under 13. If we learn we hold information from a child under 13, we delete it.

Under 18. Anyone under 18 should take part only with a parent or guardian's permission. When a producer sets an age range for a Gig, the sign-up form asks for the person's age, does not accept anyone outside that range, and asks for a parent or guardian's name and phone number when the person is under 18. Gigs without an age range do not ask.

Producers are responsible for age limits. A producer is responsible for any age limits at their Gig and for the laws that apply to minors there. runmygig does not verify anyone's age, identity or authority to sign for someone else.

Who is responsible for what

The producer runs the Gig. When a producer collects information from performers, vendors, volunteers or guests through runmygig, the producer decides what to collect and why, and runmygig handles that information for the producer so the Gig can run. The producer is responsible for having a good reason to collect it, for telling people what it is used for, and for answering questions from the people who gave it. runmygig is responsible for keeping it secure and using it only to provide the service. For producer accounts, security records and usage stats, runmygig decides how the information is used, and our Privacy Policy covers it. Our Data Processing Addendum spells this out and is part of these terms.

Your account and your Gigs

Producers are responsible for their Gigs, the information they post, how they run their lineups, and any money they collect from performers. runmygig does not run, host or supervise any gig and is not responsible for what happens at a venue. When a producer collects money from performers or guests, it goes straight to the producer through a payment link or method the producer chooses. runmygig never holds or passes along that money.

What producers promise

If you are a producer, you promise that you have the right to collect what you ask for and the right to run the Gig. Only add people who signed up or who would expect to hear from you about the Gig. Don't import lists of contacts you have no right to use. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to messages you cause to be sent, including text message and email laws. You are responsible for your own venue, permits, insurance, waivers, and ticketing or payment terms with the people at your Gig.

Do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, payment card numbers, bank details, passwords or health information through runmygig, whether in a form field, a note or an upload. If you need something like that, collect it somewhere built for it.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in, runmygig sends text messages about Gigs you signed up for, such as confirmations, your slot link, "you're on deck" alerts and changes from the producer. You opt in by ticking the text box next to your number when you sign up for a Gig, or by replying YES to our confirmation text. Message frequency varies by Gig, usually a few messages per Gig. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using runmygig.

runmygig is the sender of Gig text messages. If a producer adds your number by hand or from a list, runmygig sends no Gig alerts to it by text until that number has agreed, and may text it once to ask you to reply YES. If you reply STOP, we stop texting that number for every Gig. We keep a record of each opt-in, as our Privacy Policy describes.

Producers and text messages. When you create a Gig, you may use runmygig to send text messages about that Gig to people who signed up for it and agreed to texts. You promise that (a) you will use texts only for that Gig and only for logistics such as confirmations, schedule changes, reminders and day-of alerts; (b) you will not use texts to advertise, sell, fundraise for a different event, or promote anything else; (c) you will only add or import the phone numbers of people who gave them to you for your Gig, and will not try to text anyone who did not agree to texts for your Gig; (d) the content you write is true, lawful, not harassing, and contains no sensitive information such as health details, card numbers or passwords; (e) you will follow the messaging rules in our Acceptable Use Policy, including its quiet hours; and (f) you will stop contacting any person who asks you to, on any channel. runmygig may keep records of consent, send or hold a message, limit volume, review message content and logs, pause or remove messaging for a Gig, and suspend an account, with or without notice, to follow the law or carrier rules.

You agree to defend BTTRYZN LLC and pay for claims, fines and costs (including reasonable lawyer fees) that come from messages you write or send, from your breaking this section, or from you asking runmygig to text anyone who did not agree. This does not apply to a claim caused only by an error in how runmygig itself collected consent or sent a message.

Acceptable use

Don't use runmygig to send spam, harass anyone, post unlawful or infringing content, upload malware, sign up other people without their permission, collect the sensitive information listed above, pretend to be someone else, probe or attack the service, or try to access data or Gigs that aren't yours. Our Acceptable Use Policy has the details and is part of these terms. We may remove content, and suspend or end accounts that break these rules, right away when we need to protect people or keep our text message provider's rules.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor and renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change with notice. Early-adopter prices, where offered, stay locked while your subscription stays active. The free plan's Gig stays free; paid plans never take it away.

Content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store, copy, display and send it as needed to run the service for you, for example showing a Gig's lineup on its event page or sending a producer's updates. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for records we keep for the reasons in our Privacy Policy.

Files you upload

Producers can upload files such as QR code icons, sponsor logos, contest photos and documents for people to sign. Only upload files you have the right to share. We may refuse or remove files that are too large, are an unsupported type, contain malware, or break these terms. We use your files only to run the service for you. We don't use them to advertise, and we don't use them to train AI models. When you remove a file, we delete it from our storage, except a document someone has signed, which we keep as the record of the signature.

Electronic signatures and records

Some Gigs ask you to sign a waiver or agreement online. When you sign, you agree to use an electronic signature and to receive the document electronically, and you agree that your electronic signature counts as your handwritten one. We save the signed document with the date and time, your IP address and your browser's description of your device, so there is a record of who signed what and when. You may ask the producer for a paper copy. You may decline to sign electronically by not signing and contacting the producer. runmygig provides the signing tool only. We are not a party to the waiver or agreement, we do not review it, and we do not give legal advice. The producer is responsible for what the document says and for whether it holds up under the laws that apply to them, and we do not promise any document is enforceable. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian signs, as described in Ages and minors above. runmygig does not check anyone's age, identity or authority to sign.

Your data is yours

Your data is yours: export everything any time from your account. Producers can download every Gig, lineup, signup, RSVP and series, plus their profile, from Settings with "Export everything."

Ending your account

You can stop using runmygig at any time. Producers can delete their account themselves in Settings, Your data, Delete my account (or email info@runmygig.com and we will do it for you); export first from Settings if you want a copy. Deleting your account cancels a paid plan right away, calls off your upcoming Gigs (the people signed up get the usual message that the Gig is canceled) and deletes your Gigs and the information on them. We keep only what we have to: payment records (amounts, dates and ids, with names and contact details removed) and the documents people signed on your Gigs with their signing record, as our Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or to protect people, with notice where we reasonably can. If we suspend or end your account, you can still get an export of your data: export it from Settings if you can still sign in, or email us and we will send it, unless the law stops us. The sections on content, payment, limits, indemnification, governing law and disputes keep applying after an account ends.

If runmygig ever shuts down

If we ever decide to shut runmygig down, we will email every producer at least 90 days before the service stops. Full exports stay available that whole time, so you can take everything with you. When runmygig shuts down, we will release the runmygig source code as open source. This promise applies to anyone who takes over runmygig.

Copyright

If you believe something on runmygig infringes your copyright, see our Copyright Policy for how to send a notice. We end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.

No warranty; limits

runmygig is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every notification will arrive. To the extent the law allows, BTTRYZN LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by things outside our control, such as outages at internet, hosting or carrier providers, or severe weather. You may not use runmygig if you are on a U.S. sanctions list or in a country under U.S. embargo.

Indemnification

If you are a producer, you agree to defend BTTRYZN LLC and cover its losses, including reasonable legal fees, from claims by other people that come from your Gigs, your venues, your content, the messages you cause to be sent, the waivers and agreements you ask people to sign, the money you collect, or your breaking these terms. This applies to producers only, not to performers, crew, vendors, volunteers or guests.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except that U.S. federal law governs where it applies.

Disputes and where to bring them

If you have a problem with runmygig, please email info@runmygig.com first with a short description of the problem and what you want, so we can try to work it out. If we can't, any lawsuit about runmygig or these terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Anyone may instead bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

Assignment

You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our written permission. We may transfer them to a company that takes over runmygig, and the promises above, including the shutdown promise, go with it.

Severability

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited as little as needed and the rest stays in effect.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Data Processing Addendum and Copyright Policy, are the whole agreement between you and BTTRYZN LLC about runmygig, and replace any earlier ones. A paid plan's checkout terms also apply to that plan.

No waiver

If we don't enforce part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later.

Notices

Send legal notices to BTTRYZN LLC at info@runmygig.com, or by mail to BTTRYZN LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. We send notices to producers at the email address on their account, and may also show them in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. When a change is significant, we post it here, update the date above, email producers, and ask producers to agree again the next time they open runmygig. If you keep using runmygig after a change, you accept it. If you don't agree, stop using runmygig and export your data first.
