Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
runmygig is operated by BTTRYZN LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who can see it. When a producer collects information about you through a Gig, such as for a signup, an RSVP or a document to sign, the producer decides why it is collected and runmygig handles it for them. Questions about what a producer does with your information should go to that producer first. For producer accounts, security records and usage stats, runmygig is the one responsible. This policy covers both.
What we collect
- Producers: name and email from your sign-in (Google or email link), the Gigs you create, and your settings. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card; we never see or store card numbers.
- Performers: the name and mobile number you enter when you sign up for a Gig, your set preferences and notes, any answers the producer's sign-up form asks for, and whether you opted in to texts or notifications.
- Crew and guests: the name, role, and phone or email a producer adds for you. If you RSVP, the name, phone or email, party size and guest notes you enter.
- Terms acceptance: when a producer agrees to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, we store which version they agreed to and when. When you sign up or RSVP, we store which version of the Terms the form showed and when.
- Files and signatures: files a producer uploads, such as QR code icons, sponsor logos, contest photos and documents to sign. When you sign a document, we record your signature, the date and time, your IP address and your browser's description of your device. When a parent or guardian signs for someone under 18, we record the guardian's name, the minor's name and their relationship as entered. We do not check ages or identities.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address and device type, used for security, rate limiting and preventing abuse. Our rate limiting stores a scrambled form of your IP address, made with a key that changes every day, rather than the address itself.
- Usage stats (Google Analytics): on our public pages, the producer screens, your performer home page (My shows) and Find my Gig, runmygig uses Google Analytics to see how the app is used, like which screens get opened and how many Gigs are created. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser and gives it a random ID, and Google estimates your approximate location (city or region) from your IP address, so this data is pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous. We never send Google your name, phone number, email address, messages or any private link. runmygig never sends anything from performer slot links, crew sheets, co-host console links or stage display links, and Google Analytics isn't loaded when you open one of those links directly. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, Google Analytics is not loaded and no Analytics cookies are set.
- How a producer account found us: if you reach runmygig from one of our demo pages or from a partner's link, your browser keeps a short note of which one (for up to 30 days), and if you then create an account to run Gigs we save that note with the new producer account. It is only about producer accounts. It is never collected about people who sign up for, watch or perform at a Gig.
We ask producers not to collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, payment card numbers, bank details, passwords or health information through runmygig.
How we use it
To run the Gigs you're part of: show lineups, send your slot link, send confirmations, reminders and "you're on deck" alerts, help you find your Gig if you lose your link, keep records of signatures and consent, and keep the service secure. We do not use your information for advertising, and we don't use files you upload to train AI models.
Who can see your information
Your phone number is visible only to the producer of the Gig you signed up for (and co-hosts they share control with). Public event pages and other performers never see phone numbers.
We share information with these kinds of companies so runmygig works: hosting, database, file storage, sign-in and push notifications (Google Firebase and Google Cloud), pseudonymous usage stats (Google Analytics), payments for producer subscriptions (Stripe), text message delivery (Twilio) and email delivery (Resend). They process data only to provide those services. Our Subprocessors page lists each one, what it does and what data it handles. We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising across other websites or apps. runmygig does not track you across other websites, and no ad networks run on runmygig.
Text messaging
When you opt in to texts, we keep a record of it: the phone number, when you opted in, for which Gig, and how (the text box on a sign-up form, a slot or Gig sheet page, or a YES reply to our text). When you reply STOP, we record that too, and it applies to every Gig.
We only text numbers that opted in. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
- Gig data stays while the producer's account is active, so reports and history work.
- When a Gig is deleted, its lineup, signups, RSVPs, messages, check-ins and survey answers are deleted right away. A Gig that was published keeps its activity log (who changed what, and when) for the producer's records; a draft or practice Gig loses that too.
- RSVP guest notes are deleted 30 days after the Gig.
- Text consent and STOP records stay with the phone number for as long as we keep that number, so a STOP is always honored.
- Signed documents are kept as the record of the signature, even if the producer later removes the document from the Gig.
- Your account: producers can delete their account any time in Settings, Your data, Delete my account. That deletes their Gigs and the information on them, cancels a paid plan right away, and tells the people signed up for upcoming Gigs that the Gig is canceled. Two kinds of records stay after an account is deleted, kept apart from it with no link back to the account: payment records (amounts, dates, statuses and payment ids, with names, phone numbers and emails removed), and signed documents with their signing record (the document, who signed and when, how they were checked, and the signature), so a signature can always be verified. Anyone can also ask us to delete their information at any time by emailing info@runmygig.com. Producers can export all of their data any time from Settings with "Export everything," and if runmygig ever shuts down, exports stay available for at least 90 days after we email notice (see our Terms).
Payment records for producer subscriptions are kept by Stripe under its own rules and as tax law requires.
Security
Data travels encrypted between your device and runmygig. Each Gig's private data can be read only by its producer and the co-hosts they choose, and access on our side is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly safe. If a breach affects your information, we will tell the affected people and producers as the law requires.
Where data is kept
runmygig is run from the United States. Your information is stored by Google Cloud and our other providers, which may store it in the United States or other countries where they operate. If you use runmygig from outside the United States, you are sending your information to the United States.
Your choices
You can stop texts by replying STOP, turn off notifications in your browser, and ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing info@runmygig.com. If a producer's Gig holds your information, we may pass your request to that producer.
California
runmygig does not currently meet the size limits that make California's privacy law (the CCPA and CPRA) apply to a business, but we give everyone the same choices anyway. You can ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it and ask us to delete it, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell your information and do not share it for cross-context advertising. California residents under 18 may ask us to remove content they posted. Email info@runmygig.com.
Children and teens
runmygig is not meant for children under 13. A producer must not use runmygig to collect information from a child under 13. If we learn we hold information from a child under 13, we delete it.
Anyone under 18 should take part only with a parent or guardian's permission. When a producer sets an age range for a Gig, the sign-up form asks for the person's age and, if they are under 18, for a parent or guardian's name and phone number, which are kept with the sign-up and visible to the producer. Gigs without an age range do not ask. Producers are responsible for age limits and for the laws that apply to minors at their Gig. We do not verify anyone's age or identity.
Changes
If we change this policy, we post the update here and change the date above. For significant changes we also email producers, and producers are asked to agree again the next time they open runmygig.
